As I said at my installation as President of UNM, “A great University should never be a quiet and peaceful place.  It should be alive with the vigorous exchange of ideas strongly heald and passionately debated.  But it should - it must - be a place where we listen to one another.”

Let’s have this vigorous exchange - but one that respects the boundaries of civil discourse and that reflects well on this great University as a place where ideas can be freely and openly discussed.  Please refrain from using obscene language and personal attacks, and keep your comments constructive in nature.
